hi people wanna put in my two cents worth on my thinking on the blog posts.
i do not deny this:
i think this blog is crap. it is a waste of the time of the people who made this blog.
u see nigel's point that no one ever comes to read this blog. i myself havent come in here for a long time as well
NUMBER1:
a blog was never meant to be a hangout place for a group as big as 34 people. u want a place to accomocate an organisation where the people can talk freely and discuss things, forums or webbys are a much better idea.
the blog posts are useless. think about it:
people can spam the posts. posts lose its value
u may not like that the other guy wrote on the class blog.
people do not tend to accociate a blog as a place to discuss stuff
guides have a blog. im still seein if its gonna work out. but personally i think the school thing to make us do blogs is crap. forums, webby can be made, free. yahoo groups is also better. blog is only nice to see. it has no pragmatic value.
scouts has a webby 1305.org that caters to many people, young and old. tok cock tok joke tok serious everything also got. u have files uploaded in the filing cabinet, u have contacts information, chats, forums and photoalbums incorporated iside. seniors give regular replys, teachers can post stuff there and listen to our comments.
well its good cos we have some senior working as an analyst or sumthing in the US. however thats beside the point. anything else other then a blog, is better. teachers never ever visited this blog, except for the grading of the class points. what use is this? if we have yahoo groups or sumthing, any soft copies or stuff can be uploaded there for us to share.
im sure u guys are all not confortable with asknlearn. tho it provides all these facilities, no one goes there. face it.

blogs not totally useless. at least we have 4 people here. weng, me nigel n clara. what do i normally do when i get here? i tag. i chat with them via the tagboard.
i guess thats what people normally will do when they visit a blog, and thats what make tagboard so important in our classblog.
i can bet a hundred bucks that not a single soul will come here if it is without a tagboard. not even me or weng or clara
we are not teachers, we dun like to read lame blog posts written by other people. we rather read story book, see comic, watch movie or play game
so dianne if it still does not make sense to you that the tagboard should be increased in size...
now i want readers to imagine this utopia.

teachers vist, give frequent comments
soft copies of notes available.
last minute arrangements to lessons are possible(some people read the blog, pass on the msg vis sms)
blogs are useless.
